Magda Cafe, Od HaSharon

The coffee shop was purchased by a couple who came to the center of the country from Eilat to run their own coffee shop. He is a talented pastry chef and she manages the cafe. Together they fulfilled their dream. The couple contacted the designer of the Mazor Studio and asked for a total renovation of the site, expanding the kitchen and adapting the space in order to be able to bake their pastries within budget.

The place was planned, redesigned, and renovated, in order to create a homey and neighborhood community atmosphere, at a minimal investment. Some of the furniture was bought or refurbished. Counters and display cabinets were ordered from a carpenter, light fixtures were renovated and the walls were painted in earth colors, with some covered with white gloss. The combination of dark walls, the lightning, the white furniture, and the natural wood, create the homey yet clean atmosphere that the client was looking for.
